We are really proud to announce that Bedfordale House won another award on Thursday night in Melbourne at the Australian Timber Design Awards 2015.
Bedfordale House won the Recognising Excellence in Timber Design 2015 Interior Fitout – Residential Category and we were nominated as a Finalist – Excellence in the Use of Timber Products – Timber Veneers.
The Veneers award was won by fellow local architectural firms TAG Architects and iredale pederson hook architects, architects in association for Kununurra Courthouse.
The very worthy winner for the top gong for Excellence in Timber Design Award 2015 was Melbourne School of Design – the University of Melbourne by John Wardle Architects and NADAA in collaboration. Congratulations to all the winners.
Thanks to the sponsors of our award Hurford Wholesale Timber who ensured that we had a wonderful night. Our award is a big lump of timber which is very cool! As an added bonus we have just moved into our new offices in Nedlands and now have a wall to hang it!
Finally as this is the last time Bedfordale House will be entered into any awards I would like to thank personally my Associate Catherine Lee, our loyal and trusty consultant team, our builders Gransden and our wonderful clients for giving us all the opportunity to work on their beautiful home.
